Forum Sponsorship 

Thank you for taking the time to have a look at this proposal on behalf of Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd in association with Options magazine and the ‘MyOptions’ website. Our new online health forums are set to begin in August 2006 and will be the first interactive, integrative health forums of their kind. We would like to invite both yourself and your company to be a part of these forums that we will be hosting on behalf of our readership and web visitors.

This correspondence outlines the complete scope of these new online forums, including the ‘MyOptions’ forum objectives, the ‘MyOptions’ forum procedures and guidelines, responsibilities of parties involved, identification of marketing opportunities and benefits, and estimated reach/audience participation.

OBJECTIVE
The ‘MyOptions’ website in association with Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd aims to establish an online health forum that provides the general public with a bi-monthly event whereby they can log on to the ‘MyOptions’ website and actively participate in a Q&A session with a qualified health professional on a range of health related issues and subjects.

By conducting online forums ‘MyOptions’, in association with Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd, aims to create brand awareness for the host company and for the ‘MyOptions’ website (and associated publications). Along with consumer awareness Nature & Nurture Media aim to create a loyal relationship with forum participants as a means of ensuring repeat visitation and co-operation in each consecutive forum.

PROCEDURES & GUIDELINES

1. Procedures

a. The invited guest spokesperson will provide Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd with the forum agenda/topic 8-10 weeks prior to commencement of each online forum.

b. Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd will commence marketing of each forum by posting the forum information on the ‘MyOptions’ website and creating advertising within the next edition of Options magazine that will be released into the marketplace two months prior to the forum.

c. The invited guest spokesperson will be notified of the specific date and start time and duration of each forum two weeks in advance and will be required to commence the session by giving a short lecture/overview of the agenda/topic and prompting questioning from participants.

d. The administrator/s, upon completion of each forum session, will provide a secure online banking facility with which participants can purchase products from within the forum.

e. Upon completion of each forum session the guest spokesperson and their representative company details (including URL, weblink and contact details) and the Q&A results will remain on the ‘MyOptions’ website for a period of 24 hours after the forum has closed. The information will then be archived and made available for future reference under the heading of the forum agenda/topic.

2. Forum Guidelines

a. Forum guidelines will be available on the ‘MyOptions’ website to notify participants about the terms & conditions of the forum. Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd reserve the right to remove any participant from the forum whose behavior is deemed to be unsatisfactory.

b. The invited guest spokesperson may at any time notify the administrator/s of the forum that they do not wish to answer a question proposed by a participant and the administrator/s will remove that question from the forum session.

c. The results of each forum session will remain the property of Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd and will remain available on the ‘MyOptions’ website forum archive. The contents of each forum session will not be reproduced or used for any other purpose than the design outlined in this proposal.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTIES INVOLVED
This project demands significant involvement by the invited guest spokesperson, representative company and Nature & Nurture Media. Ultimate success is highly dependent on effort of all parties involved. To help create and achieve a successful and informative online public forum, it will be the responsibility of the invited guest, representative company and Nature & Nurture Media to perform the following:

1. Upon agreement to conduct a forum, the guest speaker may not withdraw from a forum event unless a replacement spokesperson has been secured.

2. Once an agenda/topic has been supplied to Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd this cannot be changed or amended.

3. Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd will provide the administrator/s to monitor each forum session.

4. Nature & Nurture Media Pty Ltd will provide a secure online banking facility for the forum so that participants can purchase product.

5. Nature & Nurture Pty Ltd will arrange all graphic design work for the sponsorship page. Artwork is to be supplied by the representative company in HTML format.

MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES & BENEFITS
Nature & Nurture Media foresees the online forums as being an excellent opportunity for the representative company to increase consumer awareness of their brand through conducting the ‘MyOptions’ forum events. Nature & Nurture Media will host the representative company’s brand/logo and URL/website within the chatroom for the duration of the forum that will be conducted/sponsored.

Nature & Nurture Media will also publicize each forum session via advertising in ‘Options’ magazine and on the ‘MyOptions’ website, clearly displaying the guest spokesperson’s details, representative company brand/logo and website for two months leading up to the forum. Nature & Nurture Media will then archive the forum Q&A results on the ‘MyOptions’ website for an infinite period of time making the information available to the public. The representative company’s brand/logo and details will remain as a reference point for the general public.

We believe that the benefits of conducting these online forums will be mutually beneficial to all parties involved, including the members of the public. The online forums are designed to give free health advice and information to the public from a reputable, professional health representative. Nature & Nurture Media see this as a value adding service extending from the information provided in ‘Options’ magazine, which is a free bi-monthly publication.

The compounded benefit resulting from Nature & Nurture Media hosting online health forums will be manifested through building relationships with companies like your own, creating and maintaining loyalty from the public in the participation of online forums which in turn will raise the profile of the ‘MyOptions’ website (and associated publication ‘Options’ magazine) and also that of the sponsor company.

This is a great marketing opportunity for the spokesperson and sponsor company, in a nutshell, it means: free publicity and advertising, brand exposure to potential new markets and product sales. By representing the sponsor company the spokesperson is building loyalty with the public by offering free health advice and providing follow on services upon completion of the forum. The spokesperson is also engendering trust with the public which will transpose into trust and brand loyalty for the product and services being endorsed by that person. 

ESTIMATED REACH & AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION

Initially we assert that the estimated reach of marketing for the forums will be based upon the distribution and readership of ‘Options’ magazine which will advertise each forum two months prior to the forums commencement. The issue of Options magazine prior to the launch of each forum will remain in the marketplace beyond the life of the online forum, therefore maximizing the amount of exposure of the advertisement containing your company’s brand.

The ‘MyOptions’ website is a subsidiary brand of the magazine publication and each media format promotes the other. Thus the demographic of the website will be that of the publication including the additional visitation from web browsers who do not read the ‘Options’ publication.

‘Options’ magazine, that is published by nature & Nurture Media, is a bi-monthly publication with 200,000 copies distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand. This publication is available at over 5000 health food and organic retailers, pharmacies, health & fitness centres, medical and complimentary healthcare clinics, natural therapists, colleges, exhibitions, PR events and trade shows/expos. We anticipate that audience participation will be no less than 5% than the total distribution of ‘Options’ magazine. This makes the average figure of our participating audience 6,000 people per forum.

Actual figures will be released to the company upon request after the completion of each forum session.
