We don't go for grandiose mission statements, but we have found that the following principles help us to entertain readers and influence customers.
Magazines must be a great read in their own right. If you get the reader's undivided attention, you stand a better chance of influencing them.

Be newsworthy. We've got the best cuttings library of any customer magazine company. Our EditorsĀ are asked to produce 'PR-able' stories.
Keep challenging yourself. Recognise that the magazine has a product cycle, and respond to changing markets.
Offer readers something more. People love offers, promotions, competitions and freebies, and it works right across the demographic.
